How Often Files are Committed
By default, FileMonger creates a commit (a version of a file in a point in time) about a second after the file is saved. If the file is saved several times in a second, FileMonger may make multiple commits or just one, nondeterministically.
Some applications (for example, LibreOffice or Word) modify files even if the content hasn't changed. Read the page on Smart Filters to understand how this is handled.
