Backing Up FileMonger Data
FileMonger by itself is a very powerful restoration tool. However, it is not a backup.
Backups require resiliency to more than just overriding a file history. This includes disaster recovery, hardware failures and user error.
For example, faulty computer hardware that causes data corruption will most definitely require a separate piece of backup. This scenario is also why various cloud or self-hosted sync solutions like Syncthing, Dropbox or Google Drive are not backup, as they may overwrite the good files with the corrupted data if not careful with them.
